Yanidel – Humanist Tradition

Yanidel is a street photographer who runs a daily photo blog with writings on street photography technique and gear. After four years of shooting in Paris, he embarked on a 80 weeks around the world trip to shoot street photography. Since then, he has been based in Rosario, Argentina since 2013, working on several projects documenting life in Argentina. Yanidel considers itself part of the Humanist tradition, diverging from a purely documentary approach. His pictures tend to add a surrealist and poetic dimension to the little facts of our daily life, trying to blend in some humour and a positive spin from time to time. Yanidel has been published in a large scopes of magazines ranging from inflight publications to photography dedicated magazines. His work is currently exhibited at Orly Airport in Paris.
